Maca is a legendary plant from the Peruvian Andes that has been used in traditional healing for centuries. Extensive plateaux are encircled by high mountains of limestone, dolomite and other minerals. Wind and rain dissolve the minerals, which then enrich the lowland soil, which rests and gains strength for four years. Maca has an amazing ability to
absorb all of these substances and store them in a pure, natural form.

It contains many trace elements (iron, calcium, copper, zinc, magnesium, potassium, sodium and iodine), vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E), a large quantity of amino acids, glycosides, sterols, tannins,
